Who We Are

Lovin’ Spoonful in Tx was created to bring together those who suffer from chronic illnesses who are called “Spoonies”.

LST’s founder, Jessica, who is a Spoonie herself came across another Spoonie support group on Facebook and never heard of the term “spoonie.” So while, she followed the white rabbit down that hole, Jessica realized she felt she could benefit from a group like this and didn’t know of one, let a lone in her area.

The endless doctor’s appointments, scans, referrals, insurance denials, ugly looks and comments, broken hearts from broken plans to just down right being sick and tired of being sick and tired. The majority of us are at a point in our “journey” that the safest next step is to laugh about it, right?!
